The Belgian Hare have similar characteristics to a Wild Hare or Jack Rabbit. They are usually red in color and weigh 11 pounds on average. You will usually find them lounging around during the heat of the day and coming out at night to play and eat. Being one of the larger breeds if you decide to get one as a pet take know that they will need a larger cage then a small rabbit.
