Standard Chinchilla

Originating in France the breed was not recognized until shortly after the First World War. It has a multi colored coat its top tipped with black on a white back background merging into a pearl grey middle portion and having a slate blue base and under belly. It was named for the Chinchilla the soft grey rodent that this rabbits coat resembles.
